Possibly curators, DJ's who provide reach will also benefit. Very exciting how a fair system remuneration system can be created?
Since Audius does not store the content itself but provides the technology for the decentralized system, there is also a licensing difference to other providers and it is easier to upload content, the responsibility is then the account holder himself.

In addition to the streaming platform, there is a separate cryptocurrency, the $Audio, through which the value shares of the founders, the adviser board and the first major artists are held. The volume will be increased at intervals and is available to the crypto market. Weekly $Audios will be awarded on the platform for various top 5's.
With Founder and first big artist from the electro and rap scene, it is not surprising that their share is currently the largest. Depending on when and how the compensation system comes out, Audius could go through the roof across genres. Maybe not with a complete repertoire, as the big players will not follow suit for the time being, I guess. This could also be a special opportunity for independent labels and artists. Creating a fanbase on Audius now might soon become very valuable.
The application is technically quite smooth and fun to use! Due to the fact that anyone can upload content, there are heroes who upload songs that are not theirs, too bad! Even though there is already a lot of content, there are only a few reggae songs and artists on board that you have to explicitly search for. Search and tagging still has room for improvement.
For the short time Audius is at the start, it is impressive and makes you want more! And if it goes through the roof soon, we were there live!!! #BigUp
